　　Postgraduate English language requirements 2016/17

　　International English Language Testing System (IELTS) (Academic) is accepted. The requirement for the test varies by academic department.

　　Departmental requirements：

　　Archaeology

　　6.5, with a minimum of 6.5 in Writing and no less than 6.0 in all other components

　　Biology

　　6.5, with no less than 6.0 in each component

　　Education

　　7.0, with no less than 6.0 in each component

　　History

　　7.0, with no less than 5.5 in each component

　　Sociology

　　7.0, with a minimum of 6.0 in Writing and no less than 5.5 in all other components
